"Guru Geethaya" Grade 5 reccomend reading book.

 Popular Sinhala novel "Guru Geethaya" was written by renowned Kyrgyz author Chingiz Aitmatov. It tells the tale of a young child named Amara, who is brought to a monastery to study under his guru (teacher) and receive spiritual instruction. The conflict between tradition and modernity, as well as issues of love, knowledge, and spirituality, are all explored in the book.
